MEMBER REWARDS
The Member Rewards program is designed to encourage your participation in your Neighborhood Group, the chapter Newsletter, charity events, chapter wide events etc but instead of earning guild dollars that are only redeemable at the guild store you will now earn gift certificates to one of your favorite stores.

The program will work like this:
  1. You participate in the DFW chapter of the American Sewing Guild according to the guidelines developed by the Board on an annual basis.
  2. You submit your approved request for rewards to the Rewards Chairman.
  3. A gift card from JoAnn's or other fine stores is returned to you as soon as reasonably possible.
  4. You spend your rewards gift card on anything you want.
 
  HOW TO EARN MEMBER REWARDS
For the rest of 2008 and all of 2009 you earn Reward dollars in the following way:
$5 Charity Chapter Wide Sew (each event)
$10 Writing an article for Seamswrite (100 words or more)
$10 Teaching a neighborhood group
Charity sewing in the neighborhood group - each NG leader can apply for up to 5 $10 awards per year to be used at their discretion.
Special events as determined by the event.
